Sussex Garden Trugs
Quintessentially English, nothing seems to have a more fitting place in the garden or on an allotment than a traditional Sussex Garden Trug. It’s even more fitting when the trug is actually made in Sussex by a Master Trug Maker. Using traditional methods and materials such as the same willow that’s used in cricket bats, each trug is complemented by sweet chestnut for the rims and handles.
Traditionally handmade, much as they have been by the maker for over 40 years.
Of note, genuine Sussex Trugs such as these which are traditionally made with traditional materials are becoming much more scarce, as sadly the makers become fewer and the material suppliers fade away. We feel very fortunate to have these in our store.
