This traditional, handmade, folding pocket knife will have been carried by the gardeners of Victorian Britain’s grand houses. ’Made in Sheffield’ is a time-honoured hallmark of excellence, quality and heritage.
The broad 60mm pruning blade is ideal for all garden cutting tasks. The highly polished blade material is 420S45 high carbon stainless steel which is hardened to 52/55 Rockwell C. This provides a perfect knife edge which can be easily re-sharpened using sharpening steel when the time comes
The handle is solid smoked oak which is carefully shaped to fit perfectly into the hand. A nickel silver bolster, brass pins and linings complete the traditional style of this excellent knife.
Made by craftsmen from the finest materials. The finest high carbon stainless steel pruning blade is mirror polished and is ideal for the gardener.
Its many uses include pruning & grafting, taking cuttings, cutting flowers, harvesting veg. slicing string, peeling fruit etc.

Practical Beauty
I’m an enthusiastic gardener and potterer. So string needs cutting often when I don’t expect it, batteries need teasing out or a cutting presents itself to be taken whilst I’m wandering around the place.
There’s a reassuring weight to the knife and visually it is a joy to the eye. Even the shape of the blade is reassuring. The process of extending and returning it to the body of the handle is another indication of the overall quality; smooth and secure in its groove.
By no means the cheapest knife on the market, but in my opinion at least, you can understand why that’s the case, once you have it in your hand.
